I read somewhere once : “To not travel, is to read the same page of a novel over, and over again”. I fully agree with this claim. I am grateful to have been exposed to travel at a young age – leaving a lifelong thirst for adventure. When my schedules hectic – I learned literature can bring you anywhere in our universe.
The biggest realization that has came to me throughout my journeys, is how much we all have in common.
It doesn’t matter where on this beautiful, miracle of a planet we share – at our core, we all share the same desires. Shelter. Food. Clothing. Community. Family. Peace. Purpose. Love. Connection. Acceptance. I believe we all have more in common, than we do in differences.
I can’t help but wonder when we got so lost, and out of touch with this fact. Once I came to the understanding that – Everyone is doing the best they can, with what they know – life became more freeing, and I found myself being more gracious with everyone, trying as it can be at times.
To the three people who read my blog – Let’s do our best to see the divine in everyone, and show everyone grace. Perhaps we will spark humanity for the better. For everyone is doing the best they can, with what they know – and as I heard once – we are all simply walking each other home.
Much love,
Brandon Fazio
